Who we are

Toonzy AI is a Dutch business, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 96967633. Registered business address available on request to support@toonzy.app in accordance with Dutch commercial disclosure requirements. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. What we collect

Account data: your email address and display name, collected when you sign up.

Content data: the ideas, scripts, storyboards, and videos you create.

Usage data: credit transactions, render history, and basic technical logs including IP address and browser type, used for security and abuse prevention.

Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Why we process it

To provide the service you signed up for (contract).

To prevent abuse of free trials and protect the service (legitimate interest).

To comply with tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Third parties

Supabase: database and authentication, hosted in the European Union.

Vercel: website hosting.

Google (Gemini API): image and text generation. Your prompts are sent to Google to generate your content.

ElevenLabs: text-to-speech generation.

Stripe: payment processing.

Each processes data on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

Where your data is stored

Your account and content data are stored in the European Union. Some processors may process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as your account exists.

Content and rendered videos until you delete them or close your account.

Transaction records for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.

Abuse-prevention logs for twelve months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email support@toonzy.app and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for login sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Toonzy is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be notified by email.
